Openchannelflow offers bolt-down covers as an option for flumes and weirs.  The covers are suitable whether the flume or weir is above grade, below grade, or installed in a Packaged Metering Manhole. 

For exposed or above grade applications, bolt-down covers can help to keep inflow from entering the flume as well as keep vegetation (typically leaves and branches) out of the flume or weir.  This can be particularly important when the flume or weir is installed near deciduous foliage and the flow rates are expected to be low.

In Packaged Metering Manholes, bolt-down covers can provide operators a safe platform from which to maintain and inspect the flume or weir and the flow meter sensor.

In applications where the flume or weir is larger – or where access to only one part of the flume or weir is required – the bolt-down cover can be provided in multiple pieces.

For applications where the flume or weir still requires visual inspection, Openchannelflow can provide clear Lexan or UV / impact resistant polycarbonate covers as needed.
