2-inch Fiberglass Parshall Flume with Stilling Well

2-inch Fiberglass Parshall Flume with Stilling Well

Description

A fiberglass 2-inch Parshall Flume with attached stilling well. The stilling well can be used to condition turbulent flow in the flume so that a stable level (and thus flow) reading can be made.  Stilling wells are also a convenient location from which samples can be taken and parameters monitored.

The flume is configured to mate directly to the curved wall of the concrete manhole that the flume was to be installed in and is used to measure treated effluent from a brewery.
