24-Inch Fiberglass Parshall Flume Being Installed in Colorado

24-Inch Parshall Flume Being Installed

Description

A 24-inch fiberglass Parshall Flume being installed in a concrete channel for a project in Colorado.  The flume was provided with both wing walls and a staff gauge and is in the process of being cast in place next to an 18-inch Parshall Flume.

Wing walls are used to direct flow smoothly into the flume from a wider cast channel.  Staff gauges allow operators to determine level / flow rate through a flume at a glance.
