A concrete box for a below grade application with a weir plate installed.  The box lacks the underflow baffle typically included.  An underflow baffle dissipates the energy and breaks ups the flow profile of the water entering the box from the inlet pipe.  Underflow baffles also help to separate out flotables / foam that might be in the flow stream.
