Edge-of-Field H-flume and Sampler Enclosure
Description
A typical edge-of-field installation with a H-flume, solar panels, and a fiberglass sampler enclosure. The H flume is provided with an approach section and inlet wing walls. The wing walls are made out of low cost lumber and serve to direct the runoff from the field into the flume. As their dimensional tolerance is not critical, wing walls can be made out of a variety of materials so long as they are watertight.
The fiberglass enclosure houses the portable sampler, flow meter, batteries, and telemetry equipment.
