Fiberglass H Flume with Approach Section and Detached Stilling Well

Fiberglass H Flume with Approach Section and Detached Stilling Well

Description

A fiberglass H Flume with integral approach section. The flume also has a on-flume connection for a detached stilling well. A detached stilling well allows the operator to sample and measure flow away from the flume itself.

Approach sections provide flow conditining prior to the incoming flow entering the flume itself.  The typical lenght for a H flume approach section is 3 to 5 times the maximum anticipated head (normally assumed to the be flume depth).  Shorter, and longer, approach sections are possible.
