Side view of a H-20 traffic reduer on a fiberglass manhole.  The reducer transfers traffic loads from the grade ring, frame, and cover (provided by others) which rests on top of the reducer to the manhole barrel walls.  

The reducer shown here is a large 31 3/4-inch [80.65 cm] opening one, which makes entry / exit from the manhole quite easy for the operators.
