Improvised H Flume Sample Collection System

Description

Excellent view of the flat floor of a H-Flume.  The flume is more a combination of a flume AND a weir than it is of either a flume OR a weir.

Here a tray has been placed at the end of the flume to provide a convenient point from which to draw a composite water sample.

Over time, cover crops can help to reconditon otherwise spent soil by retaining water and nutrients.
