A Parshall flume Packaged Metering Manhole with a custom flat fiberglass top being loaded for shipment to the midwest.

The 9-inch Parshall flume extends out of the manhole barrel, but is reinforced and provided with a watertight cover to allow the manhole to ship as a single, monolithic piece.

While smaller Packaged Metering Manholes can ship via LTL (box) truck, manholes with larger flumes or those excess length ship via flatbed trailer.
