Staff Gauge and Probe Well on Trapezoidal Flume

Description

Close up view of a staff gauge and probe well on a stainless steel Extra Large Trapezoidal Flume used to measure brackish water flows for The Nature Conservancy.

The gauge is a high visibility type designed for a direct read of the vertical depth of water at the point of measurement.

The probe well allows for the use of a submerged pressure transducer to measure the head (and thus flow) through the flume.
