Stainless Steel Cutthroat Flume with Bolt-On Wing Walls

Stainless Steel Cutthroat Flume with Bolt-On Wing Walls

Description

A stainless steel Cutthroat Flume with bolt-on wing walls and probe well used to measure intertidal flows in a saltwater marsh.  Wing walls help to transition flow into / out of the flume and the probe well give the operator a convenient location to place their pressure transducer probe for continuous flow measurement.

On this flume, the wing walls were provided as bolt-on attachments for the flume - instead of being integral to the inlet / outlet sidewalls.  This configuration makes it easier for the operator to take the flume out into the field and reduces shipping costs.
