Laser cut stainless steel V-notch weir plate with integrated lift handle.  The weir plate was made a replace a shop made plate which proved to be out of dimension. An integrated lift handle allows the operator to control the flow of water to the polishing pond.

Computer controlled machining - laser or water jet - is the only recommended manufacturing method for weir plates.  Experience has shown that hand cut plates commonly lack the proper dimensional tolerances and generally have poor flow crests.
