A Trapezoidal Flume with plywood inlet wing walls. The wing walls help to smoothly direct flow into the entrance of the flume. Wing walls are also useful in making sure flow does not bypass the flume - so the flume measures all the flow in the channel.

The flume is used as part of the Arkansas Discovery Farms' Phillips County investigations into soil conservation and field runoff.
