V-Notch Weir Measuring Stream flows in the Krycklan Catchment
Description
One of many weirs and flumes used to measure flows on 19 streams in the Krycklan catchment. The majority of streams in the catchment have a primary device installed to develop accurate hydrological calculations.
Pressure transducers are used to determine stage and flow rates at each site, with salt diluation and bucket measurements peformed month as calibration checks.
