View Looking Down a Small Parshall Flume with Bolt-On Wing Walls
Description
A view of a Parshall Flume with wing walls - looking down the flume in the direction of flow. The inlet walls are angled at 45-degrees. In this application, energy recovery and downstream scour are not a concern, the outlet wing walls are simply squared off to the downstream channel.
In addition to the wing walls, the flume is provided with a staff gauge and a probe well.
