Interior view of a 60-inch diameter Weir manhole.  Over the weir pool, removable, recessed fiberglass grating has been installed.  Molded-in diamond plate fiberglass benching can be seen on either side of the weir pool grating.  The benching provides operators a clean, safe platform to work from.  

This manhole, one of two, is used to measure runoff from a highway near a protected wetland in Maine.
