Absolutely! H Flumes were specifically designed for applications where flow free-falls out of the end of the flume.

Note: As the H Flume lacks a discharge section to recover the head, the flume has little resistance to effects of submergence. Openchannelflow recommends that H Flumes only be used where free-spilling discharge is present under all flow conditions.
