Yes!

Parshall flumes are great for applications where flow free-falls out of the end of the flume.

In fact, the Parshall flume can be modified so that the throat and discharge sections are removed.  This short Parshall is called a Montana flume.  

Montana flumes use the same discharge equations as Parshall flumes and are available with all of the same accessories as the Parshall flume (other than the outlet end adapter).  Montana flumes require less room to install and cost less than full length Parshall flumes.
